Felsted Riding continues its recent success with teams from the Senior and Preparatory Schools qualifying for their respective National Finals at the NSEA Qualifier last week, held at Norton Heath.
The Felsted Senior Riding Team of Hannah Barham, Ollie Stonham, and Sam Wisbey; convincingly won the 1 Metre class against some very stiff competition, to qualify safely through to the National Finals at Addington this October.
Hannah and Sam also qualified through as winning individuals to the National Finals in their respective classes. Ollie Stonham, who has not competed with his pony in the last 4 months, performed brilliantly and was the most reliable member of the team throughout the competitions.
Head of Senior School Riding Thomas Hietzker comments, “The team can be really proud of their achievement in this competition and will hopefully perform to the same excellent standard in the National Finals.”
Additionally, the Preparatory Riding Team, qualified for the National Finals at Addington Manor in October, after placing first and third in the 70/75cm class, and fourth in the 80/85cm.
Phoebe Prideaux, Tilly Worsick, Georgina O’Connor, and Freddie Beecroft, finished in first place, while the team of Poppy Buckenham, Harry Prideaux, Eloise Barber and Natasha Worsick, finished third and fourth in the 80/85cm class.
